We arrived in Alaska in early November with the temperature hovering around -10ºF and wild animals walking around outside (Bull Moose – several of them). It was really the first time away from home, family, friends and comfort for both my wife and I. Our son was two at the time and knew no difference. It turned out to be probably the greatest adventure in our life and really made us a family. I know where your thoughts are coming from here.
